Molly and Megaesophagus

Collecting player cards of our heroes is a classic pursuit of youth, but we still do it! Check our newest hero, Molly, a therapy dog! Recently Molly spent over a week in our hospital being treated for megaesophagus and severe gastric stasis. She was able to get home to celebrate her 3rd birthday and then popped in a couple days ago to give a few kisses to the front office team. She’s been so strong during recovery! Megaesophagus can be tricky, as it makes it difficult for dogs to keep their food and water down without regurgitating. To keep food down, Molly needs to eat in an elevated position. Her mom has been working very hard to make sure she gets the care she needs at home to overcome her medical problems. We are so proud of this sweet, strong girl.
